I have had the pleasure of representing the Muskham Ward for the last 20 years. In 2015,  I was pleased to welcome Caunton and Norwell  into the Muskham Ward .

I was formerly Susan Thomas, my family has lived in North Muskham for over 70 years where my parents ran a coach business.  I am married with a daughter and grandson, William.  Myself and Cllr Bruce Laughton have succeeded  in introducing the Environmental Weight Limits  and speed reductions throughout all the villages within the Muskham Ward,  which prevents HGV traffic taking short cuts and using our rural roads as rat runs.

In North Muskham, residents who live adjacent to the A1 , requested  a barrier to prevent A1 noise and after much lobbying, with the help of the Parish Council and residents, we have succeeded .

If re-elected, I will continue to fight for continued public transport in our rural villages, more investment in our primary schools and improved broadband for those residents who find it difficult to work from home.

I regularly attend Parish Councils and welcome residents to discuss areas of concern  with me.
